The first weeks of November were action-packed as we were getting ready for De.Fi World 2024 and hosting De.Fi World $50,000 Campaign. Both events brought the De.Fi Family closer and showed the strength of web3’s most dedicated users, builders, and enthusiasts. With excitement and anticipation, we had an unforgettable journey – let’s dive into the highlights!
De.Fi World 2024 tickets officially sold out in record time, filling the halls in Bangkok with more than 1,500 De.Fiers. From groundbreaking insights to industry-shaping discussions, De.Fi World exceeded every expectation, creating valuable connections and new ideas for the future of decentralized finance. We were thrilled to see a Top-Tier lineup of speakers, platforms, and multi-chain dApps join the event and are grateful to everyone who attended.
The De.Fi World $50,000 Campaign, an engaging challenge, officially ended on November 13th. With two additional days added, the campaign drew massive participation from the global web3 community, all fighting for a spot on the Top-100 leaderboard. While the Campaign have ended, the excitement is still in the air as we prepare to reveal the lucky winners of $50,000 and exclusive gift boxes.

To make De.Fi World 2024 an even more comprehensive conference, we introduced a new roster of Top-Tier speakers. Highlights included Matt from SynFutures, discussing the decentralization of perpetual futures, and Roy Hui from LightLink, presenting innovative Layer 2 solutions on Ethereum.
They were joined by other notable figures, including Eric Nakagawa from Celo, Nikolay from Nexo, and Victoria from BitMart, each bringing valuable insights into crypto’s current state and future direction. Their expertise added powerful insights to the event’s agenda.
One of the most anticipated part of De.Fi World was the keynote and panel talks, exploring topics from stablecoin innovations to market structures ahead of the U.S. elections. The discussions included standout talks from Ed Aoki, CTO of PayPal, on stablecoins, and Daniel Lynch from MetaMask, who shared a groundbreaking presentation on how MetaMask integrates with real-life payments. Additionally, Brad Harrison from Venus Protocol discussed the topic “Make DeFi DeFi Again.”
