As September draws to a close, we’re excited to share a comprehensive development recap. This month has been marked by key milestones, including the formation of significant media and community partnerships, the onboarding of top-tier speakers, and even a notable mention in a U.S. congressional session.
With each step, the anticipation for our November 11 event in Bangkok grows, and we’re on our way to making it the premier web3 gathering of the year.
This month, we’ve confirmed some of the most influential names in the crypto space to speak at De.Fi World 2024. Anton Bukov, co-founder of 1inch, will share his expertise on decentralized exchanges, offering deep insights into the future of DeFi trading. Joining him is Long Nguyen, co-founder of Minswap, the largest decentralized exchange on the Cardano blockchain, who will shed light on the Cardano ecosystem.
We’re also excited to have Julian from ApeBond, Aaron Kong from Osmosis, and Elena Sinelnikova, Co-Founder from MetisL2, each bringing their unique expertise in web3 world, cross-chain solutions, and layer-2 scaling.

We made waves in Congress on September 10th when Congressman Stephen Lynch referenced our 2023 DeFi security reports during a U.S. House Committee session. He highlighted $2 billion in losses due to hacks and exploits on DeFi platforms, citing our research on 448 documented cases:
“Recently, the multi-service crypto platform De.Fi estimated that almost $2 billion in crypto assets on DeFi platforms were lost in 2023 due to hacks or exploits, they had 448 documented cases…”
